Fear of Rejection Isn’t the Problem…

Few weeks ago Joseph Matthews from ArtOfApproaching.com said something really insightful at the LA Summit. He said:
“Guys aren’t afraid of rejection. We get rejected all the time we ask for a certain dish and a restaurant is out of it, and it’s no big deal. We ask a friend to come out to the movies and they’re not available and it doesn’t bother us. No, what we’re afraid of is judgement - specifically judging ourselves. It’s not so much an attractive woman saying no to you that bothers most men - it’s having to look inside and re-assess who you are. Putting weight on your worth as a man based on how well a woman responds to you.”
Insightful stuff, isn’t it?
